1. Who we are

API ONE ("ApiOne", "we", "us") operates the website apione.store and the ApiOne B2B data enrichment API. Our contact email is support@apione.store.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: your email address and name when you sign up.
  • API usage data: endpoints called, credit consumption, request timestamps, and IP addresses — used for billing, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
  • Payment data: processed entirely by PayPal. We never store card numbers or banking details on our servers.
  • API input data: domains, names, and email addresses you submit to our endpoints. We process these to return enrichment results and do not store them beyond the request lifecycle.
  • Support communications: emails you send to support@apione.store.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the ApiOne API service.
  • To calculate and display your credit usage and billing history.
  • To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorised access.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To send transactional emails (account creation, API key delivery, invoices). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data to train machine learning models. We do not share account data with advertisers.

5. Third-party services

  • PayPal — payment processing. PayPal's privacy policy governs data shared during checkout.
  • Railway / Google Cloud — infrastructure hosting.
  • Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may log request metadata at the network level.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion. API request logs are retained for 30 days for debugging and billing verification, then permanently deleted. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@apione.store.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only — for session management and authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Security

All API keys are transmitted over HTTPS only. We enforce SHA-256 hashing on key verification. We conduct periodic security reviews of our infrastructure.
